Last Friday we were heading out the door for our Beach Day Friday and as we were loading the chairs in the car, Brian says, "do you wanna go to the fair instead?". And so we unloaded all the beach gear, went back inside to change clothes and headed out to the LA County Fair. Who knew? Anyway, here are a few pictures of our time out as a fam...

First stop for us was food - nothing quite like Fair food, let me tell ya! This is a picture of our fries before we dove in. The picture doesn't even do the amount justice!.jpg)

Ahh, Petting Zoo time. Here's Sadie daring to get close to the pig.
We thought it might be a good idea to get some food and let Sadie try and feed the animals. Bad idea. We got SWARMED!! Sadie did-not-like-that. She wanted to be around the animals on her own terms.
The silly llama kept coming and nudging Brian on the back. He was almost as tall as Brian was and as you can tell, Sadie did not want to be close to that weird animal!

Aww. Those are some cute cute pictures. The Tulsa State Fair just arrived here today. It opens today at 4. It looks like Sadie was pretty curious about those petting zoo animals. Very funny!
Hey our fair starts today! I'm excited about that oh so healthy fair food!! I'm impressed she enjoyed the petting zoo. Those animals scare me sometimes!
I am not a fair girl, but those photos made it look so fun, I almost want to go to our fair. Love the corn dog pic. It's a classic. They had an emu in the petting zoo? Those things are kind of iffy - big birds scare me. Well, little birds scare me too.
Glad to know it was a llama, not an emu. Now the big question: Why was a llama so interested in Brian? Hmmm. . . Ha!
Looks like everyone had fun at the fair. What's a fair without Fries, burgers, and last but not least, I didn't see any Funnel Cakes. Love the pic of Sadie and the corndog. Tell her that papa will teach her how to devour one when we see each other at Thanksgiving. Miss and love ya'll. Love, dad and papa
