Mini Me

***Edited*** So, I had to add this picture that I found of my mom and Sadie. It just seemed to fit under the "mini-me" heading. My mom may just shoot me for this one, but I'll take it because I love this picture!

I realized that I hadn't posted much of Sadie recently, so here are a couple of pictures of what she has been up to - which is following me around wanting to do everything I do. I pulled out the step stool the other day so she could stand at the counter while I was making dinner. She pulled all the measuring cups out and started pretending to pour them into a bowl. I can't believe how much she takes in. It's truly amazing. These aren't the greatest pictures, but I thought they were funny because Sadie has heels on and everything. I don't know where she got that because I DO NOT wear heels while cooking. I HATE wearing shoes, so that's the first thing that comes off when I come in the house. Anyway, enjoy the pics. I'm sure when she's finally old enough to help cook and do the dishes she'll be well past the stage of wanting to do everything I do!

I got a chance to go take pictures of my friend's little ones on Monday. It was so much fun! These 2 are so precious! It was hard to get good ones of them together because of their ages. The 2 year old just wanted to run and play - until we got to the trains. I think he could have stood there all day just watching. And how precious the little 6 month old was - LOVE this stage - just sitting up and oh, so fun! Here are a few of my faves from the day.

These are some "thank you" pictures for my parents (Grammy and Papa). They bought this kitchen for Sadie for Christmas and it finally came in and I put it together Friday while Sadie was napping. She LOVED the thing. Played with it practically all night. So, a BIG THANK YOU to the grandpeople! We love you! Can't wait to see you in a week and a half!

Fall Leaf Pictures

These are the pictures I took of Sadie while we were in Kansas City for Thanksgiving. We had beautiful weather on Thanksgiving Day, so I took Mersadie outside to play in the leaves and do a mini-shoot. She had a ton of fun and I ended up with some pretty good pictures. Even though the leaves are now gone and we are in the dead of winter (hee hee it's 87 here today) I thought I would go ahead and post these pics.

Twist and Shout & Pigtail Princess

Sadie has learned how to twist caps now...and the first thing she got into was my mascara, of course. I HAD to take pictures. Hey, at least she knew where to put it.

Mersadie FINALLY has at least a little bit of hair, so I decided to try for some pigtails. Even though they look ridiculous, I thought they were cute. This picture is way off focus-wise, but I love the expression.

As I said, I have a bunch of pictures. Here is another set. We were in Ohio over Christmas, so that is where most of the pictures will come from for a while. Although, I have been working on editing some that I took of Sadie while we were in K.C. for Thanksgiving and I cannot wait to post those.

Christmas Pictures...Enjoying Mini M&M's

I know it's been like forever since I posted and believe me, do I have the pictures to show that we have been busy. Here are just a few pictures of Sadie from Christmas with Brian and I at home before we left for Ohio. My favorite part of the night was Sadie with her mini m&m's that Grammy and Papa sent. She LOVES these things (who doesn't), but of course, I just wanted her to have a few. So, Brian and I kept asking her if we could have some and Sadie would so graciously hold out the bag to us and we would take big handfuls and put them into another container behind us. I don't think she ever caught on, but don't worry, Sadie enjoyed PLENTY of them. I'll hopefully be posting every day for a while. Or at least every other day. Hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and you're off to a great start to 2009!
