Along Came Sadie - One Year Later

June 8, 2007 ~ Still hadn't met Mersadie yet...

And here she is - boy, do little babes grow too fast or what?

Note the difference between this face and the face from the party we had for her in K.C. I think she got used to this getting messy thing. No problem this time!

I pray that all of the children we are blessed with are as easy-going as Sadie. This girl let us take her cake away, mid-piece and wash her up with no fight. Weird.

Sadie even shared her yummy cake with Nathan.

365 Days - That is how long Brian and I have been blessed with our little love - Mersadie Faith. It was one year ago that we got to meet our daughter for the very first time and tell her how much we love her - something she has heard now probably a million times! We had so much fun this year with a year of "firsts"! She started her second year off with her "first" step - walking a step and a half to me today! And I have plenty of witnesses!!

What an awesome thing that God gives us through children. Enjoy these pictures from her little birthday party we had here at home with our "family". The staff from church came over to help us celebrate along with some friends of our that are missionaries to Indonesia. Thank you to everyone who loves our little Sadie - it does my heart well to know that she is so loved. Please continue to pray for Brian and I as we raise our little daughter. Happy Birthday to you, Mersadie ~ you bring us more joy and laughter than you will ever realize!
