This doesn't really go with the show except that on the way home we were sitting at a stop light and I really thought this view was interesting because I saw the palm trees on an 80 degree day with snow-capped mountains in the background. We live in one of the best places!

So, Brian and I got to go to a taping of "Live" with Regis and Kelly. I watch it quite a bit and saw that they were coming to L.A., so I thought it might be fun. We went yesterday afternoon for the taping of Friday's show - so I guess it's not quite as Live as we thought. We had to sit way in the back, of course, because of the traffic on the 5 freeway, and we couldn't use the flash on our cameras while the cameras were rolling, so here are the pictures that I got. Regis and Kelly hung out with the audience a little bit during the breaks, but never made it far enough for us to get to really "see" them. It was an experience and a bit more staged than I imagined it would be. I told Brian that being there made me realize that we are all just people. That's it. People. Josh Kelly and Jimmy Kimmel were guests. Courtney Cox was supposed to be there, but they taped her interview before and she wasn't there live. Anyway, maybe you'll see Brian and I in the top right corner of the audience when they pan the crowd (ha ha) - again, we're all just people, so does it really matter if we get seen on t.v.? Nope.
