8 Months Old and Life Couldn't be Better!

I took Sadie to the park on Friday for the first time to see if she would like to swing, and boy did she ever. She had a blast. Bet you couldn't tell from the first picture! Don't have much time to write a lot....but can you believe it's been 8 months? Ahhhh!

"This Little Piggy" - Photoshop Fun

I was talking to my mom today on the phone while I was eating lunch and sitting at the computer. (Don't know why I added all the detail, but I just realized how much of a multi-tasker I really am. I still can't talk and write at the same time, though.) Nothing like chasing rabbits. I must be all hyped from my workout this morning - 1st one in 2 months!!

Anyway, my mom was telling me about a picture of Sadie's toes that I emailed her. She told me that her friend at work, Paula, said I should do a scrapbook page that says "Tickle Me Pink" using the picture - GREAT, CUTE idea I thought. Well, I haven't given myself much time for scrapbooking lately and I was sitting at the computer, so I thought "why not play in photoshop"? So, here is what I made. Playtime is over now because I have SOOO many things to get done today. I'll start with finishing my now cold mac -n-cheese. Yes, I do know that my workout is now neggated. But, my mac-n-cheese is oh, so yummy!

My Bundle of Joy

I was getting ready to take Mersadie upstairs after her bath the other night when I realized that I needed to take a basket of laundry upstairs too. Since Brian wasn't home I couldn't ask him to help me and of course, I wasn't going to make 2 trips - way too much exercise, so I just put Sadie on top of the clothes and carried them both together. She was so cute the way she was looking at me like "what in the world are you doing". I probably did make the trip back downstairs to grab the camera though. I will exercise in order to get pictures, but not for laundry.

Gone, Baby, Gone Before

Here are some before pictures before my recent hair cut. One of my goals this year is to get up and get ready before Mersadie gets up. Well, I wanted to cut down on my time getting ready because I was getting up way too early. So...I got my hair chopped off. Let me know what you think - good and bad comments alike!

12 whole inches cut off! I'm sending my hair into the Pantene Beautiful Lengths so it can be used to make wigs for cancer patients. Even though that wasn't my first motivation for cutting my hair, I figured, why not?

Who knew that this little suction device could take a perfectly happy child with snot running down her face from this...
to this in a mere matter of seconds...

Oh well, the job has to be done and Mersadie seems to still love me after the whole process, but it does take everything I've got to hold her down!
