We headed out yesterday for our first "Beach Friday" this summer. Friday is Brian's day off and we love to just hang out at the beach. It was overcast for the first part that we were there, and then the sun came out, but it was still only about 70 degrees. I sure hope it warms up out here soon! Although, I'm not complaining...
Here are a few shots I got of Sadie today. The first one is my favorite. I like it in black and white better than color. What do you think?
I don't know what I'm going to do with this girl's hair! Sometimes she will let me put it in pigtails and sometimes she won't. At those times, it's just in her face. 
It's no secret that Sadie has not been a fan of the sand the past few summers. Well, we FINALLY got her to get down and play in it just a little. Notice she's sitting on a blanket with her shoes ON. She wouldn't take them off the whole time we were there, but hey, at least she played with the sand a little. As you can tell by her face in this picture, she was not thrilled at first.
Then she realized that she didn't actually have to touch the sand to play with it - she discovered the shovels!
After working up an appetite, it was snacktime!
YEAH!!! Who doesn't love a yummy snack at the beach?
And for my last picture. My mom sent me the wonderful little gadgets. They clip your towel to your beach chair so the towel won't blow away or slip down! They work great! Thanks Mom!

I'm with you - I love the first photo and I like it best in B&W, but the color pic is good also. I love that she tolerates the beach and hasn't embraced it yet. She's nobody's pushover! Cracks me up. I have no idea what to do about the hair situation. Maybe one of those headbands that look like giant pony tail holders? It might help keep her hair out of her eyes, but then again, she may just yank it off her head.

Have u tried little clips for her hair?

I like both the B&W and the color pictures. So cute! You need to visit OK and bring Sadie. She'll realize how great her California beaches are!

I absolutely love the pictures of Sadie. She is getting so big!! I can't wait to see her again in July:)
