I know I just posted some pictures of Sadie in the same outfit and same background, but jeez, I got so many good ones from her the other day that I just had to share more. This doesn't just happen all the time. Funny thing is - I was doing all of this picture taking the day before her "school pictures" (she goes to the 2 yr. old class at our church preschool a few 1/2 days a week). Anyway, I digress...I thought "GREAT!! She's going to love getting her picture taken!" What was I thinking? She DID.NOT. smile for them. She was "not having it" I was told. Oh well. Better luck next time! Enjoy!
The teacher in me LOVES this next photo! As an educator, I was taught the "early signs of literacy" - one of the signs being that a child will start to point to the words as they read. Well, we're working on the actual reading part, but Sadie has been pointing to the words for some time now. Also, for all you mommies of small ones out there - we've started the "Your Baby Can Read" program (the one you've probably seen on the infomercial) and Sadie can read about 10-12 words and we've just been doing it for a month and a half. We're so proud of her! Thanks, Mom, for getting that for our little Mersadie. She's gonna be the smartest little thing!
Sadie Lo-ooooo-ves to READ! She would rather read than do just about anything! I love that!

And really, can you post too many photos of Sadie? I think not.
Did they actually get a picture of her at school? Two year olds - what are you going to do with them except love 'em and laugh at them.
Nate and I wondered if that "Your Baby Can Read" thing was legit or if it was a scam. Glad to know it's legit! That's so awesome that Sadie can recognize words now. She'll be way ahead of the class when she starts school.
