There hasn't been anything really exciting going on around here, but here are a few pictures of Sadie.

This and That

I was taking some pictures of Sadie this afternoon because she was smiling a lot, but my camera was too slow, so these are the funny pictures I ended up with.

We went to the beach again this Friday and had a lot of fun. Mersadie is funny because she just kinda chills while we are at the beach. We bought her a sun dome so she would have some shade. It worked out much better than last time. We ate dinner at the restaurant at Newport Pier - we got to see the sun set over the ocean - we loved it! Brian and I decided that Fridays will be our family beach day (it's his day off). How cool is that?

BFF

Our friends Sean and Carly had a baby girl (Drew) 13 days before Sadie was born. These girls don't have any choice but to grow up to be best friends. Here is their first photo shoot together. Carly and I can't wait until they recognize each other and can really play together. It will be so much fun to watch them grow!! I also added a couple of pictures of Sadie - we will call them her 2 month pictures...can't believe she's 2 months old already! Gotta love that toothless smile!

Baby Dedication

We had baby dedication at church on Sunday. It was a very sweet time for Brian and I to dedicate Sadie to God which is really dedicating ourselves to Him and promising to raise her the best we know how with God's help and give her an example of what a Christian family looks like. Please pray that we will have wisdom as we raise our beautiful daughter!!

Official California Girl

We took Sadie to Laguna Beach yesterday for her first trip to the ocean. So, I guess she is now an official "California Girl" - she'll be surfing before we know it! We had a lot of fun and we think she really loved being there! Here are a few pictures from our trip - it is quite amazing to live just 20 minutes from the ocean. We don't have to go on vacation any more to get away! By the way, Mersadie was in the sun just long enough for us to take the pictures. I put 50 spf sunscreen on her and the rest of the time she was in the shade. (That was for you, mom! :) )

Mom Thinks She's In Charge

Well, here is the other onesie that Brian got for Sadie while he was out of town. It says "Mom thinks she's in charge". I just had to laugh - because he also bought the one that says "I love Daddy". Very funny. Anyway, here are some pics of Mersadie in that onesie as well as some adorable "tummy time" photos, Brian reading to her at bedtime and one of Sadie and Drew at church - they are 2 peas in a pod! (Drew is our friends' daughter that was born 13 days before Sadie.)
