More Pictures of Our Little Lady!

Brian, Mersadie and I went out today to do a "photo shoot" of Sadie. She wasn't interested in posing for me, but I brought along some bubbles and Brian distracted her with them while I tried to get some shots. I'm still learning this whole camera thing and still trying to get all the coloring right, but here's our precious little lady anyway. Enjoy!

The Boy's Debut

A little over a week ago, Brian and I went to have a 3-D Ultrasound done to get a sneek peak of our baby boy...Braden Christopher. My parents were in town and we were able to take Sadie with us too - so it was a lot of fun for all of us. So, here they are, the first official pictures of our little guy. Enjoy!

This is Brian's favorite picture because he thinks that Braden is already trying to show off his bulging biceps!

At around 2 pounds, I don't know how he already looks so cuddly!

Don't want to try and explain this picture too much, but the lady said that this "proves" he's a boy. I sure hope so. We already painted the room!

Well, Mommy was baking a cake and dropped some batter on the counter.

Official Unofficial 2 Year Old Photos

So, I've been meaning to take some "2 year old" pictures of Mersadie and just haven't found the time or we were waiting for scratches to go away or whatever. Well, today I had all the intentions of taking her "on location" to do some outdoor pictures, but plans fell through. So, since I had her dressed and ready, I set up our indoor "studio" and snapped a few shots just incase we don't get outside soon. So...here they are - Mersadie is 2!! (Well, she's been 2 for almost 3 months, but who's counting?)

Mersadie has so many different sides to her as you will see in these pictures. They were all taken within probably 5-10 minutes time. Oh, the different faces and emotions a 2-year old can go through! Enjoy!

Can You Whistle?

I meant to post this video a LONG time ago, but just forgot about it. On Easter Mersadie got this bubble-blowing whistle from some friends. Well, she didn't quite get the concept of a whistle because she would hold it up to her mouth and then make a sound with her own voice instead of letting the whistle do the work. She's a nut - and we love her!!!

Ice Cream Truck!

While we were out in Maryland visiting my sister, we heard the ice cream truck coming!! That's a sound we NEVER hear in California. I remember getting ice cream from the ice cream truck as a kid and just couldn't resist letting Mersadie experience the same thing. So, she picked the Dora ice cream and, of course, I had to get some pictures!

Yummy summer fun!

East Coast Fun!

Sadie and I have been out visiting my sister in Maryland since Friday. Marisa (my sister) just bought her first house and we have been helping her with projects. Here are pictures of Mersadie helping us out - she has been so good and easy going while things are in disarray.

Here is Sadie helping us paint the living room.

My mom bought Sadie some little work gloves so she wouldn't feel left out. Sadie LOVES them and couldn't wait to help us carry in some tiles.

Sadie loves climbing on things and we have a little step ladder around here that's the perfect height for her.

It hasn't been all work and no play (at least for Mersadie). On Saturday Marisa's friends Caroline and Ardeshir came over to meet Sadie and brought her a present - a bubble maker!! Perfect for Sadie - she LOVES bubbles.

And...Sunday morning just wouldn't be complete without donuts (and church)!! Mersadie usually gets to eat a donut at church - she always asks for a pink one, but there usually aren't any pink ones. So, Auntie Reece was sure to get Sadie a PINK donut. Only you can't see it because it's upside down in this picture.
